Welcome to The Begonias! This immersive and eerily atmospheric excursion carries you straight into the enigmatic mystique of Begonia Headquarters. Conceived as a lore project for a Hunger Games roleplay OC, The Begonias acts partly as an atmospheric exploration and partly as jump-scare adventure to expose the unknowns about its sinister denizens; hence, be prepared to explore a world where every click becomes an attestation to something new—or something terrifying.
You begin your journey the moment you enter Begonia Headquarters. At consisting of the door, click to proceed and enter your name; you will be granted entry. Once inside, interact with the computer by clicking on every File tab to learn about the Begonia Heads; explore the back room by clicking the plant, headshot, and to-do list for more information. Items of interest will glow white under the cursor. Be suspicious; petrifying jump scares lurk behind every corner.
The Begonias came into being out of the developer @Tsu_Suki's personal interest, who created the lore elements to give life to a Hunger Games RP OC. Much of the lore remains a secret for future events, but the current-state version provides insights into the world of Begonia Headquarters and the mysterious Begonias. The developer further hinted that he envisions expanding this into a full-blown game sometime in the near future, so do keep an eye out.
Though The Begonias is intended for controlled usage, it should install and play on most systems without any restrictive blocks. Contact the developer if you have trouble getting it to work on your system.
This phenomenal project spurred on @Tsu_Suki, a talented individual who passionately creates both art and lore for The Begonias. Every bit of their passion was poured into making this project, which is a treat for those who appreciate immersive storytelling.
With the game being created for web play, The Begonias runs on any recent browser. It requires no installation nor any special software-click away and begin exploring!
Being a web game, The Begonias should be playable usually on a school or work network. If something in the network impedes you, try to get around it from a personal device or ask the developer for alternate methods to play.
The visual and story elements of The Begonias form the core of the experience. These elements come alive through the art of @Tsu_Suki, who also laced the lore with a complex fabric of tales and mysteries. Some of the lore, however, is kept hidden for future reveals, but what is available already speaks to the developer's commitment.
