DTA is short for Draw to Adopt. It is a creative event in which participants select a character that they draw and enter for a chance to win the character. The rules stand rigidly to encourage originality and creativity.

Rules

• Remix Only: Must be a remix, no tracing or stealing.
• No AI or Picrew: Avoid using AI, Picrew, or Gacha for your designs.
• No Reselling: Never resell my designs.
• Respect: Treat everyone with respect; no guilt tripping.
• No Bases: Avoid using bases or meme templates, but minor code effects are allowed.
• Animation: If animating, ensure 80% of the code and 100% of the art are original.
• References: Light references are allowed, but don't copy a reference exactly.

Prizes

• 1st Place: Wins the character, 2 rendered icons, sticker sheet, and 2 rendered busts.
• 2nd Place: 1 rendered icon and sticker sheet.
• 3rd Place: 1 rendered icon and 2 busts.
• Runner Ups: Receive an icon.

Batch One

Once you win a character, you must use it or it will be taken away. If you lose interest, you can give it back to the developer or to a friend/mutual who wants it, but make sure to inform them of the terms.

Deadline

The deadline for the first batch is September 14th. Extensions are not available, but you can request one if needed.
