Overview

Flying Cat Ver. imparts soft nostalgia and a sense of whimsy into the freeware realm of flight and adventure. This version is a remake of one that had been discontinued two years ago. Players control a super-cute flying kitty while it navigates obstacles, collects coins, and tries to fly for as long as possible. And the game has minimal controls, and they ensure that one has a good time-fun and challenging-all from the look and feel for the people who reminisce about the original.

How to Play

The game controls are very intuitive and easily adaptable to any platform:

For PC: Use the up and down arrow keys to move the cat up and down. Press "Z" to use the item.
For Mobile: Tap anywhere to make the cat move. Tap "Z" to activate an item.

Your task is simple: avoid the obstacles, collect as many coins as you can, and keep flying for as long as you can. The game tests both your reflexes and strategy as you scramble through the skies.

Tips & Tricks

Star and Killer first: These items grant temporary invincibility to easily clear obstacles. Use them when you're in trouble.
Bomb for emergencies: Bomb will clear all obstacles in front of the cat, great for moments when you're surrounded with obstacles.
Ghost for slip through: The Ghost item will render the cat invisible for a short period so that you can pass through obstacles unnoticed.
Dash mushroom: more points: Grants an increase in score, so grab it whenever you can to boost your high score.
Coins are everything: More coins mean a higher score, so prioritize coin collection.

History

Flying Cat Ver. originated first more than two years ago, remade, and one of the trade-off games toward the community in January 2023. A decision was reached to share these classic works as part of an old series, and this version of Flying Cat was shared on November 24, 2024. The developer hints at not planning on creating new games, but this one is pure gold if you're a fan of classic arcade-style games.
