What's IslandSWC?

IslandSWC is a pirate adventure to escort Mazasa,our polar bear mascot, across the SWCSeas to collect 13 one-of-a-kind decorations for his den. Set within a colorful world of exploration, mini-games, and creative writing prompts, the weekly event is offered to people who love the mix of adventure and story-telling. Either if you choose to create epic stories or discover hidden easter eggs, IslandSWC promises the whole lot of fun and uniqueness to keep the participants engaged.

The Game

The main objective is to collect all 13 decorations, one from each cabin on four islands. Each island houses many cabins, so make sure to explore every nook and cranny. At each cabin, you'll have to complete a minigame and then either a writing or non-writing prompt to get your decoration. A sneak peek at what to expect:

• Minigames: After landing on one of the islands, you'll be given the opportunity to play a minigame. You may skip the challenge after five defeats, or after 10 minutes if, in your opinion, the minigame consists of no possibility to lose. However, for your sake, do try to overcome the challenges at hand; skipping can be used as a last resort.
• Prompts: Pick 8 writing prompts (200 words per prompt) and 5 non-writing prompts. Writing prompts give you the chance to dazzle your creative writing skills; non-writing prompts may involve a little bit of everything else-puzzles or tasks requiring interaction.
• Easter Eggs: Keep your eyes open for the hidden easter eggs around the map; finding these would make the fun so much bigger.

When you have all the 13 decorations, head back to the den to finish your journey and be rewarded.

Tips & Tricks

• Save Often: Click on Mazasa's head (top-right) when in cabins or on Mazasa while swimming to save your progress. Also, save before minigames to prevent losing progress. Due to the game's enormous size, it is highly recommended to save many times.
• Explore Thoroughly: Each island has many cabins so make sure to check every single spot. If you hurry, you can miss hidden easter eggs or some very important clues.
• Manage Your Time: With 13 decorations to collect and prompts to complete, you should employ efficient time management skills. Focus on the tasks at hand and save even in the smallest of breaks.
• Enjoy the Journey: While collecting is the main objective, remember to enjoy the game. These prompts and mini-games are made to keep you entertained and engaged.
