What is Keepy Uppy 1.4?

Keepy Uppy 1.4 is a charmingly laid-back browser game that brings back the old school fun of keeping a balloon in the air with the modern feature of lasers! Imagine the excitement of messing around with friends on the floor, with the added challenge of avoiding laser obstacles and collecting coins to get a high score. The game manages to strike an excellent balance between simplicity and excitement and is thus a perfect stress-buster for anyone.

How to Play

Use the mouse to control the balloon, just like you would in the real world: click the balloon on the left to move right and vice versa. The controls might be a bit awkward at first, but they will become second nature in no time at all. Your objective is to collect coins to add to your score while avoiding obstacles. If you fail to pick up a coin within a certain time, it will begin to flash and will eventually disappear. You can also click the balloon in the main menu to give it a new set of goofy eyes!

Tips & Tricks

• Keep Clicking the Green Flag: This makes sure that the game runs smoothly.
• Balloon Glitches: If the balloon does not move properly, die and restart or click the green flag again.
• Get the Coins Fast: If the coins flash and disappear when they're left uncollected for too long.
• Stay Alert: Obstacles could be tricky; keep your eyes on the prize and think ahead.

History

Keepy Uppy has a surprisingly deep history! By all accounts, it is not based on Bluey. The original game was invented in Scotland sometime after World War II, nearly half a century before Bluey came about. For many years it has remained a much-loved game; this incarnation brings it into the digital age with a laser-theme twist. The game has been successfully hosted on Scratch, the well-known platform for young creators, and has attracted a loyal following over the past few years for its simplicity and charm.

Right now, the developer is working on version 2 of the game, which will perhaps have color customization for the balloon, a shop, and a leaderboard.
