What is Wordle?

Wordle is strongly addictive and stimulating; it has captured the internet by storm. Created by Josh Wardle, the player has to guess the word with five letters in six tries. After every guess, the game comes with clues that are colour-coded to show whether the letter may be correct and in the right spot, or whether the letter is correct but in the wrong spot. How to Play

The game seems to be very easy but is quite demanding:

Guess the Word: Type a five-letter word in the provided grid.
Hints: After the guess, the game will give coloured hints:
- Green: Letter is correct and is in the right position.
- Yellow: Letter is correct but is-not-in-right-position.
- Grey: Letter does not appear in the word.
Next Guess: Keep scrolling the feedback clues until you hit the secret word or six attempts.

Tips & Tricks

Target Vowels: Vowels may often assist in forming English words. Try to identify vowels like A, E, I, O, U.
Target Common Letters: S, T, R, L, N, E are some of the most common letters in English, so it is wise to start with them.
Avoid Repetition: Do not use the same letter with every guess unless you want to test if the letter fits in the places you've typed.
Eliminate Letters: Take notes on the letters that have been ruled out and focus on the letters you have left.
Follow Patterns: Sometimes the feedback from earlier guesses reveals a letter or number pattern that directly points towards the word you are trying to guess.

Wordle was initially created by Josh Wardle as a holiday gift for his partner, who adores word games. It became popular after being said about a lot on social media. It was later acquired by The New York Times in 2022. Since then, being simple yet challenging, it has turned into the daily ritual of so many, with new puzzles released every single day.
