What is Jetpack Platformer?

Jetpack Platformer is an exciting and dynamic platformer that quickly escalates in difficulty, starting off straightforward and easy. Perils grow larger as you proceed, leading to a sorely unorthodox boss fight with a towering volcano that is supposedly at the source of all the lava! This game introduces a casual platformer mechanic with a quirky twist, granting the experience some freshness to hold players' interest.

How to Play

Use arrow keys, WASD, or tap on mobile for movement. The player will stick to your finger in mobile.
Traverse levels avoiding spikes and lava (sure, they are safe, just don't bank on it!).
Make it all the way across to the right side of the stage to go advance to the next level.
On the last stage, stay clear of those fireballs and stay alive long enough to claim victory!

Tips & Tricks

Keep moving and planning your jumps well because difficulty ramps up quickly.
Know your way around the movement controls, and you will overcome the platforming obstacles.
During the last level, you'll have to dodge fireballs, so be smart about when you do it!

History

Jetpack Platformer was made out of a love for platforming games and seeing how popular a slightly generic one full with quirky volcano boss gameplay could become. The game has undergone its changes for the better while the updates comprise subtle tweaks, such as putting a smiley face on the default cube while removing the generic one. The developer has even toyed with adding scrolling, although at first, instead of succeeding, the whole fiasco ended up opening up a different can of worms.
