What Is Batch 3 - Greek Gods DTA?

Batch 3- Greek Gods DTA is a monthly-rotating ScratchDraw To Adopt (DTA), where designers produce artwork of character designs inspired by the 14 major Greek gods. Each design incorporates elements unique to the deity it represents. This DTA is a celebration of the 5-year anniversary of Scratch and the 800+ follower milestones of the creator!

How to Play

To enter the contest:

Read the contest rules and agree.
Draw or paint any one of the Greek god designs (Demeter, Hestia, and more to be announced).
Submit to the studio before the deadline.
Include your own original entry, free of AI, base, or stolen art, that is high-quality and above any disrespect.

Tips & Tricks

Put in Effort: Judges look for creativity and dedication; don't rush your entries.
High-Quality Art: Clean lineart, nice colors, finely detailed.
Creative Concepts: Add lore or a backstory to make your entry stand out.
Respect the Rules: Following the guidelines will keep your entry safe from disqualification.

History

This DTA series started in celebration of the creator's love for Greek mythology and their road on Scratch. Each batch features another set of gods, with Batch 3 currently focused on Demeter and Hestia. The project has grown, attracting a lively community and turning Scratch users into poets of creativity.

Q: How many entries can I submit? A: Submit up to 5 entries per design. There is no limit on number of drawings created.

Q: Can I win more than one design? A: No, a participant can win one design per batch and, respectively, in up to two batches in total.

Q: What if I don't have experience working with art? A: This contest is for all levels. So if you just started drawing, don't be shy and do the best you can!

Q: Are redesign(s) permitted? A: Yes! However, the characters must still be recognizable as the original design.

Q: Can I rename the characters? A: Sure! You may rename, provided their identity stays clear.

Q: What if I submit AI or stolen art? A: If an entry contains AI-generated or stolen art, it will be disqualified. Please do not submit!

Q: When is the deadline? A: The current batch ends on September 2, 2024, so make sure to submit your entries by then!
